Senior Business Analyst PowerBI

Main Responsibilities

  • Leverage previous full-cycle PowerBI implementation and extensive data experience to build and continuously improve PowerBI reporting infrastructure and system in the Company;
  • Develop reporting and analysis by creating, improving and owning automated business reports;
  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to define data collection and requirements and establish clear business understanding to provide effective analysis and process automation;
  • Define and execute data visualization and analytics solutions using PowerBI;
  • Align PowerBI reporting of China businesses with other businesses globally, e.g. Japan;
  • Design and execute analytic projects, generate insights to support business decisions using advanced analytical techniques;
  • Conduct data analysis to solve business problems;


Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst. Full-cycle PowerBI implementation experience required;
  • Experience working in the B2C consumer goods and/or e-commerce industry preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on statistical, analytical and computer programming skills;
  • Proficiency in databases such as Redshift, RDS, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle etc. and SQL for querying and extracting data. Considerable experience in writing efficient SQL;
  • Proficiency in at least programming languages (Python, Java, R, Scala etc.) for data gathering, data cleansing and statistical analysis;
  • Expertise in data visualization software including PowerBI, Tableau and/ or others (QuickSight, QlikView, Looker, Superset etc.) for effective data presentation;
  • Smart, hard-working, curious, fast learner of new things across different businesses;
  • Creative and analytical thinking to generate interesting approaches to answering business questions;
  • Strong and effective written and oral communication to clearly convey data findings;
  • Demonstrate ability to turn data into actionable insights and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions;
  • Ability to reconcile technical and business perspectives;
  • Strong interest in e-commerce and marketing;
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to changing environment;

Wechat Store Sales Manager


  • The main objective of this role is to drive the growth of the various Acorn wechat stores (in particular acornfresh Wechat store, both English and Chinese versions, 3 stores total)
  • Develop new sales channels for AF hero products within the Wechat universe
  • Develop and nurture relationships with new partners, online platforms and offline business who can expand AF sales
  • Organize AF brand building and brand awareness activities
  • Work closely with e-commerce operation team and creative team to ensure all aspects of the stores are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Work closely with community manager to grow and monetize acornfresh wechat communities (both English and Chinese)
  • Monitor and Analyze stores performance and compile evaluation reports
  • Work closely with creative team to evaluate A/B testing results to adjust and revise content in the stores design/messaging/copywriting
  • Brainstorm with team members to develop new campaigns to expand the stores outreach or promote specific products
  • Support the teams working on Acorn general Wechat CRM
